The most eagerly anticipated sequel in the Indian film industry is undoubtedly the follow-up to S Shankar’s blockbuster film ‘Bharateeyudu.’ The original film, titled ‘Indian’ in Tamil, was released in 1996. Fast forward to 2023-24, and fans are thrilled as the sequel is set to hit the screens. Today, the acclaimed director surprised everyone with a mesmerizing introduction video showcasing India and the iconic character ‘Kamal Haasan.’

In the 1996 film, Senapathi (played by Kamal Haasan) vowed to return if the need arose. Now, amidst the resurgence of corruption in society, a social media movement has been launched, urging Bharateeyudu to make a comeback. The trending hashtag #ComebackIndian gained momentum, and in the introduction video, Kamal Haasan makes a grand entrance, proclaiming, ‘Namasthe India! Bharateeyudu is Back.’ The teaser promises an epic cinematic experience, with Shankar’s masterful direction evident in the visuals and production design.

Accompanied by Anirudh’s captivating background score, the song ‘Come Back Indian’ adds to the anticipation, while Ravi Varman’s cinematography enhances the overall vibe.
