Former Telangana Chief Minister and BRS Chief K. Chandrashekar Rao, affectionately known as KCR, sustained a hip fracture after a fall at his farmhouse early on Thursday morning. He was immediately transported to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad for treatment.
A team of specialists will perform hip replacement surgery on the former CM later today. KCR’s condition is currently stable, according to a hospital statement. Due to his age, doctors conducted a series of tests before making the decision to proceed with surgery.
